The wind is blowing and we are off on another fishing adventure. This weekend Ten Thousand Islandswe traveled back south to Chokoloskee Florida. Bordering the Ten Thousand Islands and the Gulf of Mexico, Chokoloskee is known for its fishing, bird watching and kayaking through the mangrove jungles of the Team BM FloridaEverglades. On our last trip we fished only a few of the mangroves islands with our canoe. This time we ventured out to explore more of what the Everglades has to offer with the new Baitmate boat.

We fished the sandfly pass looking for snook, redfish and trout and we found them all to complete our inshore slam. With endless places to fish we waited for the tide to turn and start Area we fishedcoming in as it is best to fish moving water. We tied on our DOA Shrimp in 309 Glow/Gold Rush Belly and 408 Red/Gold Glitter and put on Baitmate Live Saltwater and the new Baitmate Dip Ultra Live Bass. With the flip top and hands free containers it sure makes applying the product super easy. With the Ultra DOA-Shrimpreflective scale flake it helped to enhance our baits.

We stayed at Millers World in Everglades FL where they have cozy little cabins that are steps away for water. With great accommodations, a beautiful pool and also having a Restaurant & Bar, Marina & Boat Rentals and Store & Deli all onsite it sure make for the perfect place to stay.

I don’t know where the wind is going to take us on our next fishing adventure but I will talk to you soon and remember to keep a tight line….
